Catrax Plus:

Digicon Catrax Plus is a half body turnstile for access control, modern and attractive design, as well as versatile and easy integration with different security components such as magnetic, biometric and proximity readers. It is an ideal solution for commercial or residential buildings, gyms and schools. It is widely preferred for its excellent performance and low maintenance cost.

Functions and Features :

• Locking operation by means of electromagnets and not solenoids, providing greater reliability;
• Angle of 90 ° between the arms, guaranteeing more comfort in the passage;
• Turn confirmation signals generated by high performance optical sensors, without mechanical wear;
• Cabinet made of carbon steel and epoxy powder paint. Optionally, the cabinet can be manufactured with brushed stainless steel sheet (Aisi 304). It has 3 polished stainless steel arms;
• The top cover has a combination of stainless steel sheet and finished with high-impact injected plastic parts, providing robustness and rounded lines, in addition to an excellent design;
• There are no apparent screws. To access the internal part of the turnstile it is necessary to use a security key;
• Two automotive bearings increase the life of the tourniquet by avoiding unnecessary maintenance;
• Optional system with hydraulic shock absorber for arm return control. Slow down to avoid user shocks;
• High performance mechanism for operation in large access flow;
• In case of emergency, if there is no power, the tourniquet works free for both directions;
• It can easily be adapted and integrated to any terminal / technology. It allows easy installation of barcode, proximity or Smart Card readers on the surface or next to the tourniquet cover;
• Optional controller board (interface between turnstile and integrator control) mounted in SMD process, has configurable electromagnets protection system and offers 4 inputs and 2 outputs. It allows configuration of the 4 options: release for both directions, block both directions, release one direction and block the other direction. Allows configuration of access times and available return signals informing user access;
• Optional source (sold separately) high performance – input 90 to 250 VAC and output 12 VDC / 2A. It has protection against electrical cuts;
• Optional card collector chest (sold separately) integrated in the turnstile itself. The collector chest has an infrared device that detects the presence of a card, an electromagnetic device to retain and collect the card and an urn to store up to 200 cards. A window allows easy installation of card readers. Access to the urn through a locked door.

Advantages :

• Easy Assembly and Maintenance Catrax turnstiles are manufactured with a “U” support (drawer type), which can easily be removed or repositioned by the top of the column, through a safety key, turning the assembly of electronic components and Maintenance actions much easier.
• Access Permission Catrax Turnstiles can be configured with pictograms indicating permission and direction of access.
• Access Comfort The opening angle of the arms (90 °) allows a smooth turn and reduces the impact of the arm on the person after access.
• Reliability and Safety To operate the locks, optical sensors and electromagnets are used, which avoids mechanical wear and increases the life of the equipment.
