How Do Embosser Machines Work?

Different metal tag embossing machine models work in different ways.They generally follow the same process.

A loader is first stacked with metal tags. To prevent jamming, these tags must be exactly the right size for your machine and flat.
The machine then grabs the tags and marks them one by one.

Each character is embossed one at a. time by positioning the tags correctly.Each stamping head hits the tag one at a time. for each letter in the alphabet, and one for numbers 0-9. For a comparison, think of a typewriter.

Finally, the metal is marked and placed in a bin to keep the tags sorted.
